KAT CIRQUE | PERFORMER & INSTRUCTOR
PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE
After participating in recreational gymnastics for 10 years, Kat transitioned to competitive sports acrobatics at age 15. Competing in levels 3A, 6, 9, and the 12-18 international stream, Kat successfully competed both nationally and internationally in women's pair and trio categories. Notable achievements include 4th place at the Vegas Acro Cup in 12-18 Women's Pair Acrobatic Gymnastics (2018).
A back injury in 2019 ended Kat's competitive acrobatics career, but she soon discovered a new passion in Aerial Lyra. Since starting Lyra training in 2019, Kat has quickly made her mark, placing 1st at Bend The Air NSW in both Advanced Lyra (2023) and Elite Lyra (2024), along with performing in a range of solo, duo and synchronised Lyra acts.
INSTRUCTOR EXPERIENCE
Kat has completed both her Beginner and Intermediate Coach accreditation from Gymnastics Australia (2015, 2018) and coaches students in both individual ground acrobatics and partner acrobatics.
Kat has also been instructing private students in Aerial Lyra since 2021, working with both recreational and competitive students. Their coaching has led to notable achievements, including a student receiving the Emerging Talent award at Bend The Air 2022 and securing 2nd place at La Folie 2023 with a choreographed Lyra routine.
